Netiquette
Let's start at the very beginning: a very good place to start...
Please skim the 10 rules at this site so that you have an understanding of Network Etiquette--or netiquette--so that you know what is expected of your participation in our class blog. (Keep these rules in mind for future online classes and jobs, too.)
Some clarification:
#7 is a bit too lenient for a professional setting. Flaming is not welcome in our online discussions. Be polite.
Though #5 says it's ok, don't swear on this blog even if you use a euphemism.
And don't type with caps lock turned on. IT'S PERCEIVED AS YELLING.
The Assignment:
Find two pieces of information from the Netiquette site that are really relevant for our class and explain your choices in a comment on this blog post.
NOTE: Whenever you post, include your first name, last initial, and class period IN your post at the bottom, regardless of what you type in the name field. Don't write your whole name in the field unless you want it there.
(Posts will not show up immediately. I am moderating.)
